We were commissioned to build a new 400 sqm house within the South Downs National Park, incorporating an existing Victorian gate lodge. The construction method involved a steel portal with an infill timber frame. The ground floor is clad with brickwork, while zinc panels cover the first and second floors. Inside, the design features steel staircases, rotating walls, secret staircases, a rotating bath, and numerous bespoke joinery items. The project gained recognition through its appearance on Grand Designs in September 2016 (series 16 episode 2).
